The Power of Words

Mindfulness and Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness is simply focusing completely on what you’re doing, slowing down, and observing all of the physical and emotional sensations you are experiencing in that moment.   Mindfulness can be practiced when eating as you take time to really chew your food and concentrate on its flavors and texture. Anyone can practice mindfulness; there are no barriers of, age, education, intelligence, or spiritual evolution.   It doesn’t matter how old or young you are, if you have a PhD degree or not, if you’re religious or not. An important part of mindfulness is reconnecting with our bodies and the sensations they experience. This means waking up to the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the present moment.   It's about allowing ourselves to see the present moment clearly. Mindfulness is a basic human ability to be fully present, it’s an awareness of where we are and what we’re doing, we should not be excessively reactive or inundated or weighed down or overwhelm...
